As a young graduate coming from a communication background, with a passion to embrace the emerging trends in communication especially the New Media, gaining requisite knowledge and experience with international best practices and advanced technologies, choosing the Communication University of China is just the right thing to do.

Program Description
Brief Introduction
The Master’s Program in New Media: Creativity and Technology combines new media information technology with new media communication theories. Students are trained to apply cross-media, interdisciplinary, and cross-cultural skills and scientific thinking to their study. They are required to gain a solid understanding of theories and methods in the field of media and communication.
The goal of this program is to train interdisciplinary talents possessing innovation awareness and capability to meet the challenges posed in the 21st century by the new media industry. Students will be awarded Master of Arts in New Media upon successful completion of the program.

Education Practicum and Field Work (3 credits)
Students are required to intern at media agencies or production crews doing course-related work.
Thesis (3 credits)
Students are expected to bring specific research questions to the program. Thesis must demonstrate valid analytical skills, and combines theories with practical experience. Students must pass oral defense of thesis to obtain master degree.

8. English proficiency test certificate
For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
*9. Two letters of recommendation (scanned copies)
Written in English or Chinese from two respectable professors. including professors' contact no, email address and handwritten signature
*10. Research plan
Research plan (no less than 2000 words in language which will be used in future lectures.

For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
