Applicants who acquire foreign citizenship at birth or later with both parents or one parent being Chinese citizen should have valid foreign passport for 4 years or above or verification of nationality, and with over 2 years records of living outside of China (9 months in a year living abroad can be considered as 1 year which is subject to the entry & exit stamps) in recent 4 years (before April 30th of every academic year), between 18 and 35 years of age, with high school diploma or higher academic degree certificate.

2. For those who were born overseas with foreign nationalities, if both parents or one of them is a Chinese citizen settled abroad, please offer the following documents as required
(1) Notarized Birth Certificate;
(2) Copy of Passport’s entry and exit signature/stamp pages for the last four years
(original document for reference);
(3) Proof of overseas education experience for the last four years (from April 30th, 2019
to April 30th, 2023)
*3. One Recommendation Letter with school seal or signature of the referee.
4. For those who have changed their nationalities from Chinese into others, please offer the following documents
(1) Naturalization Certification;
(2) Certification for Chinese Household Registration Cancellation;
(3) Copy of Passport’s entry and exit signature/stamp pages for the last four years (original document for reference);
(4) Proof of overseas education and living experience for the last four years (from April
30th, 2019 to April 30th, 2023).
*5. HSK Certificate and scanned copy of original transcript. (Except for the Chinese Language & Literature major)
*6. Scanned copy of passport information page; Scanned copy of visa or residential permit for students already studying in China.

If you are a new graduate who do not have a degree certificate at the
moment, you can submit the transcripts first, and the degree certificate will be
audited at the enrollment. Notarized translated version is required if the original
document is not in Chinese or English. (Original documents need to be offered for
check on registration day)
Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
